Measuring 10 inches tall by 48 inches wide (4 feet wide!), this beautiful item is an ideal gift for any skiing, snowboarding, outdoor scenery enthusiast. The metal artwork is made by hand with aircraft aluminum that will not rust or tarnish over time. Looks great inside on walls and tile, or outside on the front of the house or a fence. Matching hardware is provided so your artwork can be hung quickly and easily.

Bear Mountain Metal Art is based in Fort Collins, Colorado and operated by artist Bobby Singleton. Artwork is made by drawing the design on a sheet of aircraft aluminum and using a hand-held plasma cutter to cut out the shapes for the piece. Grinding a pattern into the aluminum then adds texture and depth. The piece is sealed with three layers of automotive clear coat for a beautiful finish that allows the artwork to be hung inside or out in the elements. The end result is a one-of-a-kind showpiece.

I haven’t taken the sculpture out of the packaging yet since I bought it as a gift, but I did open it up and took a peak. It looks great, even though I could only see the back without detaching it from the plywood it was attached to for shipping. I’m so excited to give this gift to my bf. He lived and worked in Winter Park for years. He also spent a great deal of time snowboarding there, as well as teaching snowboarding and skiing. He left in the early 90s and hasn’t been back for a long time. I think he will enjoy looking at this over his fireplace. I was also impressed with the packaging. Mounting it to a thin sheet of plywood and wrapping it tightly in cardboard ensured it arrived undamaged. Thank you!!!

The Winter Park mountains were where my parents honeymooned so it's great this Christmas present is more personal. The metal was attached to a thick board so it wouldn't bend during shipping. A few burrs show it was handcrafted and the quality of metal and workmanship is beautiful. Thank you!
